To examine perceived aspects of importance among young adults with ADHD to participate and engage in occupational activities, and to explain how support from occupational specialists can assist them to deal with executive impairments.
Individual interviews with eight young adults with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. The interview guide was based on assumptions derived from the literature regarding executive functioning and issues related to participation in occupational activities, alongside the needs for social support. Interview transcripts were analysed using qualitative content analysis.
Four categories emerged from the analysed interviews (1)

Routines, interest and structure in everyday life are important to engage in occupational activities. There is a need for continuous support from a trusted person to establish and maintain healthy daily routines. Occupational specialists can be a vital resource, as they possess specific knowledge on the possibilities for occupation, and additionally, they can fulfil the young adults’ needs for continuous support. There is a need for studies questioning how some young adults with ADHD fulfil their work role despite executive impairments. Focusing on executive functioning can be a valuable supplement to the focus on specific diagnoses in research and practice.

To evaluate if MRI/ultrasound fusion based targeted biopsy (FBx) leads to a reduced rate of change in Gleason score (GS) compared to prostatectomy specimen.
The histopathological findings of the biopsy of the prostate and the radical prostatectomy (RP) specimen of 210 patients who were referred to our hospital between 2012 and 2017 were compared retrospectively in this study. One hundred and five patients who underwent FBx combined with ultrasound-guided 12-core biopsy of the prostate (SBx) were matched with 105 patients who underwent SBx only. This study evaluated the rate of up- or downgrading in the RP specimen in both groups and compared the results
matched pair analysis.
Concordance in Gleason grade group (GGG) was found in 52/105 patients (49.5%) in SBx and in 49/105 patients (46.7%) with FBx (
= 0.679). The rate of downgrading was statistically significant (
= 0.014) and was higher in the FBx group (14/105 patients, 13.3%) than in the SBx group (4/105 patients, 3.8%). A higher rate of upgrading was seen in SBx (49/105 patients; 46.7%) compared to FBx (42/105 patients; 40%), with no statistical significance (
= 0.331). selleck chemicals llc The change in GGG from biopsy to final pathology in patients with GGG 1 and 2 at biopsy level was not statistically significant (
= 0.168).
FBx does not decrease the rate of upgrading between biopsy and final pathology in RP specimens. Our results indicate that FBx tends to overestimate the final GGG compared to SBx.

To uncover recent trends in vision healthcare research, this study employed a text mining approach to literature analysis. Methods A total of 506 journal articles published between January 2000 and April 2020 were collected from the Web of Science database. To investigate the main research themes and evolving trends, bibliometric and hierarchical cluster analyses were performed using R software. Results Although the number of articles per year fluctuated in the past two decades, the findings of this study indicate a growing interest in visual impairment healthcare research. The United States contributed 32.3% to the overall output followed by the United Kingdom (16.7%). The prolific journals were Ophthalmic Epidemiology (4.7%), British Journal of Ophthalmology (4.4%), and JAMA Ophthalmology (3.4%). By using a hierarchical clustering algorithm, the 10 main research topics were estimated. Conclusions Given the increasing prevalence of visual impairment in an aging society, an understanding of the current knowledge structure in scientific literature is essential for innovating on the existing healthcare system. The results of this study can guide researchers to discover the unexplored research areas and provide new directions for future work.
The aims of this study were to investigate whether baseline leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) is associated with future recovery from depression among patients with a depression diagnosis and whether baseline LTPA is associated with total physical activity after five years of follow-up.
A total of 258 patients aged ≥35years with clinically confirmed depression at baseline participated. The study was conducted between 2008 and 2016 in municipalities within the Central Finland Hospital District. Depressive symptoms (DS) were determined with the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) with a cutoff score ≥10, and depression diagnoses were confirmed by the Mini-International Neuropsychiatric Interview (MINI). Blood pressure and anthropometric parameters were measured and blood samples for glucose and lipid determinations were drawn at baseline. LTPA, physical activity, and other social and clinical factors were captured by standard self-administered questionnaires at baseline and the five-year follow-up point.
Of the 258 patients, 76 (29%) had DS at follow-up.
